Joseph Jedlowski, MBA, MHA
Joseph is a seasoned senior housing executive with over 15 years of experience in operational and financial management within the senior living industry. Before establishing Distinctive Healthcare, a fully integrated management, development, and investment company, Joe served as the President and Owner of Milestone Retirement Communities, LLC. There, he led the expansion to serve over 7,000 residents and 5,300 team members across 19 states. His leadership was instrumental in driving operational excellence, strategic vision, and portfolio growth, developing tailored solutions optimized for performance, cost controls, and organizational initiatives.
Joe has led numerous senior housing projects, including new construction developments, acquisitions, and turn-around leadership. He is recognized as a trusted expert in revenue development, net-income maximization, and strategic relationship management. He actively contributes to the industry as Chair of the Arizona Assisted Living Federation Association and an Executive Board Member of the Florida Senior Living Association (Argentum), alongside membership in various professional healthcare organizations.
Joe holds both undergraduate and Master’s degrees in Healthcare Administration and Business Administration from American University and is a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) from the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners. He is also a passionate advocate for the Alzheimer’s Association, Alzheimer’s Society, and the American Red Cross.
